This policy explains what personal data Codexy Software LLC collects through elsewhere-vpn.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are
Codexy Software LLC (“Codexy”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described here. We are based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. You can reach us about privacy at office@codexy-software.com.
This website
elsewhere-vpn.com sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers; everything it needs is served from our own host.
Like any web server, our hosting provider receives technical data with each request (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) so it can deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting and keep them for no longer than 30 days.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist we store your email address, which product you signed up for, and when. We use it to tell you when the product is available and to send occasional launch updates. Our legal basis is your consent.
The list is kept in Google Sheets, submitted through a Google Apps Script form handler; Google processes it on our behalf. You can leave at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to office@codexy-software.com, and we delete the list once it is no longer needed for the launch.
The ElsewhereVPN service
ElsewhereVPN is in development and this policy currently covers only this website and the early-access list. Before the service launches we will update this policy to state exactly what the apps and servers process, what (if anything) is kept and for how long, and where our servers are operated.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract (hosting, email and the services named above), and with authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to office@codexy-software.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova, or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
Security
We keep the data we hold to a minimum and protect it with access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
Our websites and products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
